Fire destroys Grand Junction home
A house fire destroyed a home in Grand Junction tonight.
Fire Department officials told us they received the call just after 6:00 this evening.
The fire completely engulfed this home on 300 South Redlands Road.
Two engines and one ambulance were on scene trying to fight the blaze. They were able to keep the fire to the property.
It's still too soon to determine the cause of the blaze according to authorities.
An adult and three children were at the home when it started. Fortunately everyone was able to escape with no injuries.
Firefighters are still on scene cleaning and investigating the area and will continue the investigation tomorrow.
The Red Cross is helping the family find shelter.
