Fatal crash shuts down Garfield County road
Garfield County Road 108 is closed as Colorado State Patrol troopers investigate a fatal rollover crash.
CSP investigators say the crash happened at about 3:30 Monday afternoon when the driver of an SUV took a corner too fast, rolling the car. He was ejected and pronounced dead at a local hospital while his passenger, a woman, suffered moderate injuries and is recovering.
No names are being released in this case, but troopers say it serves as a reminder to always wear your seat-belt.
