GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -

KJCT has been receiving a number of phone calls from viewers asking how they can donate to the relief efforts for Colorado wildfire victims.

Right now, the best way to help is by donating money to the local Salvation Army or the Red Cross.

The Salvation Army Corps Office is located at 1235 North 4th Street in Grand Junction. They can be reached at (970) 242-7513.

The Western Colorado Chapter of the American Red Cross can be reached at (970) 242-4851. Their location is 506 Gunnison Avenue, also in Grand Junction.

IntelliTec College is also accepting donations. They're collecting laundry soap, non-perishable food, water and hygiene items. The college will donate the items to shelters in Colorado Springs.

You can contact IntelliTec College of Grand Junction at 970-245-8101 if you have questions.
