District 51 Adopts School Calendar
District 51's calendar adopted for next two school years
The latest adjustments to the 2013-2014 school calendar have been approved, based on requests made by the Board of Education at their last meeting. The committee recommended that the Board adopt two years of calendars, which was done at Tuesday night's meeting. Highlights of the calendar include: a start date of August 12, 2013; no fall break in October, a full week of break at Thanksgiving, and the two-week Spring Break remains in 2014. For 2014-2015, the calendar was proposed to have school begin August 4, 2014 and would include a week of fall break in October and a full week at Thanksgiving as well as the two-week Spring Break, which includes one week of possible intercession in 2015. The approved calendar is also available at http://www.mesa.k12.co.us/
