Colo., Wash. await federal response to pot measure
Colorado officials have talked to the U.S. attorney general about the state's recent marijuana vote, but no decision was announced about how the federal government would respond.
A spokesman for Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper says the governor and state Attorney General John Suthers spoke to Attorney General Eric Holder in a private phone conversation Friday afternoon.
Holder did not say how the federal government would respond. Spokesman Eric Brown says there was no announcement about a possible lawsuit challenging Colorado's marijuana legalization measure.
