This week's Cat of the Week is Mia. Mia is a very sweet and gentle 9 month female. For her age, she is a very little cat, and most likely will not get much bigger as she gets older. Mia is a black, domestic medium hair kitty.
CLAWS rescued Mia from Mesa County Animal Services. While there, she had four kittens, and all of them were put into a foster home. Recently, the foster home was not able to care for the kitty family and that is when CLAWS stepped in. All five of them are now at PETCO in Grand Junction waiting for a home. The kittens are 10 weeks old.
Mia has a very calm temperment. She likes kids, and plays very well with small dogs. She doesn't seem to get along with other cats, so she may be best in a single cat home. That being said, she gets along fine with her kittens. If you are thinking about a adopting more than one cat, you could adopt Mia and her kittens!
If you'd like to adopt Mia, she is waiting for you at the PETCO in Grand Junction. PETCO is located at 2464 Highway 6 and 50. The phone number (970) 241-8340. Her adoption fee is just $65, and that covers you'll need to take home a happy, healthy kitty, which includes her spaying.
