Grand Junction, Colo. -

This week's Cat of the Week is Gary. Even though Gary is a boy's name, this cat is in fact a girl. A very, very sweet girl. Gary may be the sweetest cat we have ever featured in the segment! She starts to purr the instant you start petting her. She will nuzzle into your arms, and loves to sit on laps.

CLAWS acquired Gary from Mesa County Animal Services. That means they do not know a lot about her history. We think she will get along very well other cats, but are not sure how she would do with dogs.

Gary is declawed, so if you bring her into your home she will have to be an indoor cat. She is waiting for you to make her part of your family at the PETCO in Grand Junction. PETCO is located in the Grand Mesa Shopping Plaza, between 25 road and the Mesa Mall. The phone number is 970.241.8340.
