Mesa County's School District 51 says door-to-door sales of curriculum aids in the Grand Valley are not endorsed by the organization.
Officials say they have been made aware of a company offering to sell curriculum or curriculum aids to parents in the Redlands area. District 51 does not endorse materials that are sold door-to-door nor the company that may be implying to represent the district or its schools.
Officials are encouraging all neighbors approached with these sales to ask for the seller's name and where the money is going. Parents should also always confirm or verify that the sale is legitimate by calling the district office or neighborhood school.
You can reach the district office directly at (970) 254-5100.
