The Bull Basin Fire that was burning one mile southwest of Molina has been fully contained.
According to Lisa McCammon with the Mesa County Sheriff's Office, the fire is 100% contained and crews are in the mop-up stage Wednesday morning.
The blaze was first reported around 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
It was burning on private land and was estimated at about 20 acres at last report on Tuesday evening.
Even though the blaze started small, firefighters jumped on it quickly because of the conditions in Colorado. Air support including a Type 3 helicopter and an air tanker were called in almost immediately.
There were pre-evacuation notices ordered earlier on Tuesday but they were lifted after 10:30 p.m.
