Broncos' business is booming
Manning, Miller jerseys top seller
Mile High magic is back in full-force as the Broncos get set to battle the Baltimore Ravens on Satuday. But it's not just fans rejoicing the playoff run.
The owner of 'On & Poppin Sports', on 6th Street and North Avenue in Grand Junction, said the great season has been helping his bottom line.
Manuel Franco makes his livelihood by selling jerseys, hats and a variety of other sports memorabilia. He said Peyton Manning and Von Miller jerseys are two of his top sellers this season.
He opened his store in November after moving from Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Franco thinks Peyton Manning, mixed with his store's close proximity to Denver, is a recipe for his business' success.
"It's helped out a lot, it really has, being that it's familiar with Bronco Country, and we're way up here so we're a few hours away from them [Denver], so it's picking up," said Franco.
But Franco doesn't only cater to Denver Broncos fans, his store has a variety of NFL, MLB, and NBA merchandise. He even makes special orders if he doesn't have the team you're looking for.
Franco said he's received a few special requests from Seattle Seahawk fans as they continue their success this season.
