Boulder libraries to allow guns
Boulder's library commission has approved a new rule that will allow people with concealed weapons permits to bring their guns.
The Boulder Public Library Commission gave unanimous approval on Wednesday to the rule change after reviewing a state Supreme Court ruling telling state universities they could not ban concealed-weapon permit holders from bringing guns on campus.
The court ruled earlier this year that state lawmakers only provided a few exceptions to the concealed weapons law, and neither of those organizations are among them.
According to the Boulder Daily Camera (http://tinyurl.com/abtnka6 ), the new policy still has to be approved by city officials.
