Body of missing Loma woman possibly discovered
Police believe they've found Roxanne Kostka
Mesa County sheriff’s deputies believe they've found the body of a woman who was last seen on Saturday.
Deputies said they discovered the body between N and O Road and 15 and 16 Road in the Loma area. They reported the discovery around 9:45 a.m. Monday.
Roxanne Kostka, 62, had last been seen on February 16 around 4:30 PM, at her residence in the 400 block of M Road in Loma.
Deputies said they learned new information on Monday indicating Kostka wanted to harm herself.
The Mesa County Sheriff's Office will work with the coroner to determine the cause and manner of death, and to determine positive identification of the body.
