Body in Rocky Mountain National Park may be TX man
Rocky Mountain National Park officials say a body found by two people snowshoeing in the park may be that of a missing Texas man.
Park officials said Tuesday the body was found against a tree in a thick timbered area, about 100 feet off from a summer hiking trail.
Larimer County coroner's officials were conducting an autopsy to confirm whether it was the body of 39-year-old Troy Green of San Antonio.
Green had come to Colorado to attend a conference. His wife called Denver police when she didn't hear from him Thursday. On Friday, park rangers found Green's rental car at the Bear Lake parking lot.
The park is about 65 miles northwest of Denver.
