Body discovered in canal
This afternoon, the Mesa County Coroner's Office identified a body found in an irrigation canal as that of 51 year-old Kenneth Cottingham of Grand Junction. He is the man whose wife reported him missing on September 25th.
A couple walking near 27 Road and I-70 discovered the body in the canal Sunday evening.
Grand Junction police went to the scene around 6:00 p.m.
Mr. Cottingham was found not far from where his vehicle was discovered last week.
