Authorities in Archuleta County are trying to identify skeletal remains that were found in a remote area by cattle ranchers.
Coroner Carl Macht said Tuesday he hopes dental records will solve the mystery, but a search of DNA records may be needed.
According to the Durango Herald (http://tinyurl.com/8ru3cy8 ), Macht said there are several people missing in the Four Corners area and he is waiting for laboratory results.
