ASPEN, Colo. -

A lack of snow is forcing the Aspen Skiing Co. to limit access to Aspen Mountain during the weekdays.

Ski company spokesman Jeff Hanle says the only runs open through Friday are those with man-made snow.

The top of the mountain will remain closed for skiing for the time being because the natural snowpack is not enough to provide a useable base.

Hanle tells the Aspen Daily News (http://tinyurl.com/cnaea9f ) skier visits have been adequate since the mountain began lift service on Thanksgiving Day.
