Artists painting Palisade for upcoming exhibit
Artists will be painting until the second week of July before entering their piece for a $10.00 fee
You might see a lot of painters sitting around Palisade the next couple of weeks as part of the Blue Pig's Paint Out.
The local gallery is asking artists to literally paint the town, on a canvas, then reveal it next month.
What they paint has to be found in Palisade.
Painters participating say it's a great way to get your work seen.
"For me it's just part of being an artist but for other people it's a great opportunity for the first time to be able to say i showed at the blue pig gallery," local artist Nancy Lewis said. "So if you're an upcoming artist and want to be able to put that on your resume, then come out and paint!"
Artists will be painting until the second week of July before entering their piece for a $10.00 fee.
All paintings in the Blue Pig exhibit will be on display and ready for sale the weekend of July 14th and 15th.
