An arrest has been made in the Naturita shooting investigation. Ronald McGuffee was arrested after a man was shot outside of his repair shop on Monday night.

McGuffee turned himself in to Colorado Bureau Investigators in Montrose Tueaday afternoon He is being held on first degree assault at the Montrose jail.

Aauthorities say Brandon Pacheco was shot by McGuffee as he was leaving the scene with another man in a car. The shooting happened after an argument the two men had.

The shooting happened Monday night outside Ron's Auto Repair shop off main street, which shares a building with West End Community Church.

We're told McGuffee is the owner of Ron's Auto Repair--where the shooting happened.

The Naturita Town Marshals have handed this case over to C.B.I. The marshal says his department is working with them but not in charge of the investigation any more.  Together, the two agencies along with Colorado State Patrol and Montrose County Sheriff's Office processed the scene.

Pacheco is alive and at St. Mary's hospital in Grand Junction, but his condition remains unknown.

C.B.I. says this remains an ongoing investigation.
