Amber Alert for missing child cancelled
The Amber Alert for Essence Lovato has been cancelled, according to our sister station in Colorado Springs, KRDO-TV.
Essence Lovato, 2-years-old, was reported missing late Monday night.
KRDO-TV in Colorado Springs is reporting that she has been found safe and the Amber Alert has now been cancelled.
The little girl disappeared after A 28-year-old woman, Tonia Shetina, was reportedly supposed to take the child to her grandfather's home on Monday night, but they never arrived.
On Wednesday afternoon, deputies learned that Shetina was staying at a home south of Fountain. Authorities went to the home and found Essence there, unharmed.
There's no word if Shetina will face any charges.
