2nd suspect arrested in Glen Road shooting
Shooting took place Feb. 16th
A second suspect has been arrested in connection to the shooting on Glen Road on February, 16.
According to the officers with the Grand Junction Police Department, 47-year-old Michael Joseph Renteria Sr., the father of the first suspect arrested in this case, is in the Mesa County Jail.
His charges include complicity in the attempted murder of Frank Rodriguez, who was shot during the altercation, as well as felony assault, burglary and menacing charges, among others, police report.
Authorities believe Renteria Sr. had a baseball bat and went to the house on Glen Road with his son, Renteria Jr., and a third person.
While at the home, Renteria Sr. assaulted three people with the bat, while Renteria Jr. shot Frank Rodriguez, police said.
