CLIFTON, Colo. -- A man is at large after a short car chase with the Colorado State Patrol.Around 2 pm there were reports of a police officer attempting to pull a vehicle over in Fruita. The driver didn't stop and later the C.S.P. picked up the chase near I-70 in Clifton.The pursuit led authorities into a nearby neighborhood where two elementary schools were put on shelter in place.Authorities say they think they know who the driver is but he is still at large.Continue to follow KJCT News 8 on air and online for the latest developments.
