MESA COUNTY, Colo. -

The Colorado State Patrol tells us that one person was taken to the hospital after their vehicle was involved in a crash with a semi truck on Sunday night.

According to Trooper Nate Reid with C.S.P., the accident occurred near mile marker 42 on I-70 at about 10:20 p.m.

We're still waiting to hear specific details behind the crash but alcohol isn't a factor, said Reid.

The driver of the Cadillac was bearing Colorado license plates and the male semi truck driver is from Arizona.

The woman was transported to St. Mary's Hospital with minor injuries.

One lane of traffic was closed for about an hour while crews removed the broken-down semi from the interstate, said Reid.
