Drivers might want to take it easy on the roads this morning.

KJCT News 8 is getting reports that there has been an accident on I-70 WB at the Rifle exit.

The report came down around 4:30 a.m. on Friday.

As of 7:45 a.m., all lanes are back open at the Rifle exit.

The Colorado Department of Transportation says the road was being temporarily closed earlier this morning to clear the semi truck.

Drivers were urged to take US 6 through Rifle as an alternate route.
