HOMETOWN: Sedona, Arizona

EDUCATION: Graduated Cum Laude from the University of Arizona in 2012 with a Bachelors of Art in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Photography.

EXPERIENCE: I was interested in Journalism ever since high school. I started out working for my high school newspaper and daily news show. While in college I completed several internships with KOLD News 13 and KVOA News 4 in Tucson. I also had an internship with Sedona Monthly Magazine early on in college. My senior year at U of A I was the Head visual and sound editor, graphic editor and producer for Arizona Cat’s Eye – a 30 minute news magazine produced by the senior broadcasting students.

INTERESTS: Anything and everything outdoors. I love hiking and taking my camera out on the trail. I also enjoy traveling, although I haven’t been out of the country since 2008. I was born and raised in Arizona and I’m really excited to live and explore a new state.
