GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) The Colorado Mesa University Sustainability Council and Positive Movement are teaming up to teach you how to turn that pile of trash in your garbage into art.

The groups are hosting free-to-the-public workshops, run by ' Tres Resignify,' an upcycling art group out of Mexico City.

The classes began Tuesday afternoon and continue for the rest of the week.

"Their purpose is to resignify our idea about garbage," says Nicholas Moore of Positive Movement. "We're turning what most people would consider waste into artwork."

October 25th - CMU Fine Arts Building, room 202 6-9 p.m.
