GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Colorado has seen its fair share of natural disasters from avalanches and tornadoes, to the floods that hit the state just last year. Thursday evening kids got hands on education about natural disasters at the John McConnell Math and Science Center.

Different stations were set up to help educate the kids, while building fun projects. Each month the center holds and education night for students, there is a small admission fee for attending.
