Officials searching for assault and robbery suspect

MESA COUNTY, Colo. The Grand Junction Police Department needs the public’s help to identify and locate the suspect or suspects that were involved in an assault and robbery.

On Friday, Feb. 7 at around 9:20 a.m., a white male approached the victim in the south alley of the 800 block of Texas Avenue. The subject assaulted and robbed the victim before fleeing the area.

The suspect was described as a young college-aged male, that was approximately 6’ to 6’3” tall with a skinny built and wore a dark colored hooded sweatshirt.

If you know the identity or location of the subjects involved in this crime, please call Crime Stoppers at 241-7867. Information reported to Crime Stoppers that leads to an arrest can earn you up to $1,000 cash reward and you will remain completely anonymous.
