GREELEY, Colo. (AP) -- A LaSalle man has pleaded guilty to attempted murder of a police officer after exchanging gunfire with a Weld County SWAT team last year.
The Greeley Tribune reported Friday that 32-year-old Jeffrey Plahn could be ordered to serve to 40 years in prison at his May 23 sentencing hearing.
He pleaded guilty Thursday.
Police say Plahn barricaded himself inside a house in LaSalle for nine hours on Nov. 13. He was eventually shot and wounded by SWAT officers.
