PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) -- Pueblo police say an officer shot and killed a man after he aimed a gun at them during a hostage situation.
Police say they were investigating a domestic disturbance Wednesday night when they heard a gunshot coming from inside. After rushing in, they found a 23-year-old man holding a gun and two women. Officers say the man had been threatening the women with his weapon and fired at one of them.
According to KKTV-TV, officers confronted the man and ordered him to drop his gun. Authorities say instead of complying, the suspect pointed his gun at the officers and the suspect was shot and killed.
The women in the home were not injured and the suspect has not been identified.
