Girlfriend of strangled man now accused of false reporting

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Kristi Baldwin was issued a summons for false reporting to authorities in the case relating to the strangulation death of her boyfriend, Matt Wilkerson.

The image attached is her booking photo from an April 2012 arrest. As she was issued a summons in this case, she was not arrested and no current mug shot is available.

Baldwin is due back in court later this month.

In a recently unsealed arrest affidavit, Mesa County Sheriff's Office investigators revealed Baldwin and the suspect, Christipher Baker, told them multiple versions of what happened to Wilkerson the night of November 2nd.

An autopsy revealed he had been strangled, but the pair told investigators Matt fell over different objects, then that the men got in a fight over her and later over pizza.
