Crime Stoppers trying to locate assault and vandalism suspect

MESA COUNTY, Colo. This week Crime Stoppers needs your help in identifying and locating the female suspect who was involved in an assault and vandalism.

On Sunday, Feb. 16 the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a report of an assault that occurred at Pete’s House of Spirits located at 1500 North Avenue just after 9:50 p.m. The female suspect became irate after the clerk refused to sell her alcohol without a valid ID. She assaulted the clerk and knocked down some beer bottles. Video surveillance captured a Hispanic female who is approximately 18 to 20 years of age and last seen wearing a black jacket with brown fur on the hood with a red bandana wrapped around her red streaked dark hair. The suspect fled the scene in a black KIA passenger car. The surveillance photos of the suspect can be viewed by clicking on the link under the photo.
