GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. The family of Kathleen Stetzel continues to mourn the loss of their beloved family member while many of the details surrounding her death still remain unknown.
Stetzel's body was found on Wednesday in the desert off of 25 road, after being reported missing by her family on Monday night.
Stetzel’s family says they will remember her as the wonderful woman she was. They say they are pleading with her son Daniel to come forward, who has now been named a person of interest and the last person to see her alive.
Her niece Brittany Rogers said there are no words to describe the feeling of losing her and the horrific circumstances of her death.
“This is not easy to deal with by itself and then not knowing and he's the only one that has that information he needs to come forward and we need to find out what happened,” said Rogers.
No further information has been released about the death of Stetzel but authorities do say they will continue to look for her son Daniel Stetzel as a person of interest.
