HANKSVILLE, Utah- The body of a Salt Lake City man has been pulled from Lake Powell.
Divers recovered the body of 22-year-old Alec McQueen at Bullfrog Marina on Thursday.
Kane County sheriff's deputies say McQueen was boating with three friends in the Bullfrog area on Tuesday.
They say the group returned to the dock Tuesday night when the driver turned off the engine and McQueen jumped into the water.
The driver told investigators she saw McQueen in the water a few feet behind the boat, but could not see him when she looked again seconds later.
National Park Service divers found McQueen's body more than 110 feet below the surface.
His body was taken to the Utah State Medical Examiner's Office, and an investigation into his death continues.
