LOVELAND PASS, Colo. (AP) The Colorado Department of Transportation has closed Loveland Pass because of a snow slide.
Department spokesman Joe Tucker said no injuries have been reported from the snow slide early Friday. He said driving is treacherous over Vail Pass, where several tractor-trailers jackknifed overnight. Those accidents have since been cleared.
The National Weather Service said Friday travel over high mountain passes in northern and central Colorado will be difficult because of snow and blowing snow.
