DENVER (AP) Two Adams County sheriff's deputies are recovering after their patrol car crashed and rolled at the intersection of Interstate 76 and Interstate 25 north of Denver.
KUSA-TV reports the car wiped out the guardrail and landed on a nearby embankment just before 1 a.m. Sunday, and rescue crews had to cut the deputies out of the vehicle. The deputies, whose names have not been released, were taken to a hospital with serious injuries but are expected to recover.
Colorado State Patrol investigators have not said what led to the accident or where the deputies were headed.
