In 2007 she was cast on the sitcom “The Bill Engvall Show,” and she played in the movie “The Poker House” in 2008.
She also earned a role in “The Burning Plain” in 2008.
In 2010 Lawrence’s career got a jump start when she was cast in “Winter’s Bone.”
Her role as Ree earned her Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations.
She is the third-youngest actress to ever be nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress in a leading role.

Her portrayal of Tiffany earned Lawrence the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.
