1985: Willis burst onto the Hollywood scene with a starring role in the TV comedy "Moonlighting" opposite Cybill Shepherd. Willis played detective David Addison for the series run from 1985-1989.
1988: Willis' first blockbuster film came with the action adventure "Die Hard," where he played officer John McClane -- and delivered the iconic line, "Yippi-kay-ay mother ..."
1992: Willis and then-wife Demi Moore arrive for the Los Angeles premiere of "A Few Good Men" on Dec. 9.
