Local Sports: Glacier Ice Arena is cooling down the Summer

With the temperatures rising outside, are you looking for something cool to do this summer? The Glacier Ice Arena adult hockey leagues are in full swing.

The hockey league features players aging from 17 all the way up to 82.
Seasons usually run about 12 games with most games being played on Sunday evenings.

The rink will be open all summer long, using the 14 miles of pipe under the ice to keep the surface skate ready and playable.

Even though hockey is a tough sport they encouraged everyone to play, Arena Manager Jaden Koos said.

"Our adult league here is for everybody of all experience and all age levels. From people who just started playing this year to people who grew up from playing as little kids”, said Koos.
