CMU Women's Soccer: Lady Mavs confident about homestand

CMU Women's Soccer finished their California road trip at 0-2.

A late goal to Humboldt St. and a 2-0 loss to No. 22 Sonoma St. left the Lady Mavs winless.

Now the team returns home for back-to-back games.

CMU will take on Texas-Permian Basin at 4 p.m. on Friday followed by Keearney of Nebraska at 2:30 P.M. on Sunday.

The Lady Mavs would love nothing more than some home cooking.

"I'm just really confident," head coach Jason Clare says. "When we're at home we always get a good crowd here. We know that pitch really, really well outside. We're just looking forward to it. Hopefully we get two wins on the table and get back to even-Stevens and have a really good test against Rollins the following week."
