CMU Men's Basketball: Westminster ends Mavs hot streak

Colorado Mesa men's basketball survived a thriller on Tuesday night, but on Thursday were not as lucky. The Mavericks had their five game winning streak snapped in their second RMAC game falling to Westminster 74-62.

CMU kept the game close in the first half only trailing the Griffins by three at half, but in the second Westminster flexed their muscles. Dayon Goodman led the charge offensively recording 30 points on 10-20 shooting.

With the loss Colorado Mesa falls to 5-3 on the year. The Mavericks will be off until next Friday when they hit the road to take on Fort Lewis College on Friday.
