Summer camp spots filling up

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) -- Summer camp spots are filling up fast, and Grand Junction Parks and Rec officials suggest registering sooner than later.

There is no registration deadline, but spots are on a first come, first served basis.

There’s a camp for everyone, ranging from art camp to sports camp. Some of the most popular camps are STAR and SCORE, and they're halfway full.

Not only are spots limited, but so are grants. These camps cost just under $90. To receive a grant there is some administrative work and paperwork to fill out.
