GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- After its grand opening, the Eureka! McConnell Science Museum has some new additions that are fun for all ages.

Although the museum caters mostly to kids, there are new interactive exhibits that both kids and adults can find interesting.

You can find everything from a new saltwater exhibit, to a brand new geology cave with glowing rocks at the museum, and it provides plenty of opportunities to learn more about science, technology, engineering and math.

"It’s incredibly hands on. The kids get to experiment with the concepts, whether that be science, or engineering or math or physics. They get to experiment with all that hands on, and see how it works for themselves,” said Patricia Willer, an intern at the museum.

The museum is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday afternoons from noon to 4 p.m.
