MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- A fire along the Montrose and Mesa county line has grown dramatically larger and now is reaching property.

The incident command team on scene said Friday the Bull Draw Fire grew about 5,000 acres in the last 24 hours, crossing into Mesa County where cabins at Campbell Point are located.

Crews say conditions around the now 14,000-acre fire allow for the potential for torching and significant runs.

That fire started after a lightning strike on July 29.
