GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) -- The Grand Junction Police Department is looking identify the suspects involved in a vandalism incident at a local store.

On Feb. 1, police said the Safeway in the Patterson Marketplace reported a bathroom was vandalized with graffiti.

Security camera footage shows a man and woman near the bathroom that the police believe to either be responsible for the graffiti or witnesses of the crime.

If the suspects are found, they could face a vandalism misdemeanor charge.

“Part of community policing is really paying attention to those issues... doing what they can to work with the business owner with service footage to see if they know something about it. We just want to talk to them about what they might have seen and what they know about the crime,” said Heidi Davidson with the Grand Junction Police Department.

Typically with property crimes the severity of the charge is determined by the dollar value of the damage done.

If you have any information on the suspects, call Crime Stoppers at 970-241-7867.
