GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-- Coloring-as in coloring books-isn't just for kids anyone. It has be come a trendy hobby among adults.

It's called 'coloring by adults', and it's as popular in Mesa County as it is across much of the country.

In fact, a fairly good-sized group of adults, about 60, took a hand at coloring at the Central Branch of the Mesa County Library Thursday afternoon.

Organizers said coloring can be a great way to escape from the real world with colored pencils... and your imagination.

"It's a great time to meet people and relax," said Ike Rakiecki, a librarian at the Central Library. "It's one of those things where it's so relaxing, it almost de-stresses you."

Coloring books and coloring pencils were provided for everyone who attended.
