Julian began his sports journalism career at the University of La Verne in Southern California. During his time as a Leopard he served as sports editor of the campus newspaper, associate editor of La Verne Magazine and play-by-play, color commentator and sideline reporter for KWST-TV and KULV-FM.

Outside the classroom Julian worked as a contributing writer for Lakers and Dodgers Nation and promotional assistant for CBS Radio in Los Angeles. His greatest sports media experience came as a sports production assistant at KABC-TV in Los Angeles where he interviewed sports legends such as Kobe Bryant, Lebron James and Vin Scully.

Julian was born and raised a So Cal kid, but can’t wait to explore the competitive world of Western Slope sports. It’s been his dream to be a sports broadcaster since he was six years old. When he’s not in the middle of a sportscast, Julian is watching the biggest sporting event on TV or shooting hoops.

If you have any story suggestions, he’d love to hear from you!
