Percussion Festival offers day of master classes and free concert
Colorado Mesa University’s 7th annual Western Colorado Percussion Festival will take place on Saturday, November 10th, featuring clinics, master classes and performances by nationally recognized percussion artists and regional talent. Events include:
? Honor Percussion Ensemble Rehearsals open to select students.
? Clinic and Master class with guest artist Michael Udow
? Free Final Concert at 4:00 pm in the Moss Recital Hall open to the public featuring CMU Percussion Ensemble, Educators Percussion Ensemble and Honors Percussion Ensemble.
Guest Artist Michael Udow had a distinguished career at The Santa Fe Opera and The University of Michigan and continues to perform while also providing extended guest residencies at Conservatories and Universities around the world.
Michael now devotes greater quality time towards composition while continuing his research and development of unique quality percussion timbres and supporting products.
