“Immigrants and the Building of the Union Pacific RR” will be presented by A. Dudley Gardner, Ph.D, at the November 14^th meeting of the Chipeta Chapter of the Colorado Archaeological Society. Join us at the Montrose United Methodist Church, 19 S. Park Avenue at 7pm. Dr. Gardner has worked in a variety of places including Fiji, Mongolia, and China. An emphasis on Historic Archaeology evolved out of his roots at CSU and centered on the Chinese Settlement of southwestern Wyoming. He has now worked on Chinese sites around the Pacific Rim.
