Loma Elementary School is having a 5K run fundraiser on March 9th at 9 AM. This run will be held at the Little Salt Wash Park in Fruita at address 1135 18 RD.

The 5K is a fundraiser for playground equipment and the race is a Dr. Seuss inspired theme of "Oh The Place You'll Go". Dr. Seuss attire is encouraged for the racers. The cost of the preregistration for the race is $15 until March 7th and after that date the registration will go up to $20. Registration the day of race will be from 7:30-8:30 AM. Preregistered runners can pick up there packets and runners can still preregister on March 7th at Loma Elementary from 4-6PM. Following the 5K there will be a fun run for children at the cost of $5.
