The Great American Meatout is a yearly event, -similar to the Great American Smokeout, when people are asked to eat vegan, at least for one day, on the first day of spring, March 20th. You can save animals' lives, protect our environment, and improve public health by taking the pledge to eat vegan on March 20th.

Time for Spring Cleaning? We are having a ‘Spring Cleaning Cookbook Swap!’ Bring any cookbooks you no longer want, and we’ll have a book swap, the remaining books to be donated to the Friends of the Library for their annual booksale.

For the potluck, please bring a plant based dish - free of animal products - to serve eight. Bring something as simple as cut up fruits or veggies, natural juice, or feel free to show off your veg cooking talents. See www.livevegan.org for recipe ideas.
